For the mission editors out there, an Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising competition has just kicked off. The short story is create a mission using the mission editor, share it with the community, and win various prizes from Intel.

How to make an awesome OFP:DR map!
1. Load up editor.
2. Play around for 20 minutes before realizing its not very powerful.
3. Ragequit.
4. Fire up Arma 2.
5. Profit!

5. Play around for 20 minutes before realizing your computer needs to be made in 2020 to run Arma 2 at a steady framerate.
6. Ragequit again.
7. Fire up the original OFP. Download mods.

Mine runs Arma 2 perfect.
24 fps is good for Arma 2 passe
And it's steady
24fps isn't a 'steady framerate'. Actually, 20fps is the bare minimum that most games are still playable at.

Ofp1 Editor was the best Editor anyway.
to hell with Op2 and Arma 1&2.
They also need Dedicated Servers, else these missions are basically useless.
THe editor is not easy to understand at all, they should check Ofp1 editor or Arma's edior, u can make awesome stuff with these and spend hours unlike this console port :/.
Until they have dedicated servers i am not interested in this pish.
Same goes for Modern Warfare 2.
In case you guys don'T know, there will never be dedi servers for OFP:DR

i agree totally with ragequiting opf 2 and arma 1&2 still arma was genius but never completed the games becouse of the bugs such a shame...
