Olvand is a little multiplayer sandbox RPG, where the players live in self-built towns and can go on all kinds of adventures together. Imagine living with your friends in a small town in the mountains, or creating a new group of friends in a pub in the metropole you all live in. There will be several mini-games the inhabitants of a server can play together, among which will be combat based games like King of the Hill or Capture the Flag. You will be able to play against other people in your city, or as a city against another city, or as a whole server against another server. The combat works with self-built guns, in which all kinds of powers can be combined to create unique effects.

Greetings. I recently got gifted this game without my knowing. (Thank you by the way!) For the past two days I've been trying to play with other players. But everything is empty.. Is there a time schedule that everyone follows, and I don't know about?

Thanks.

most people live in different time zones so not everybody is online at the same time.
I think you just need to be lucky or get a friend to play this.

Yes, finding people to play with is a huge problem for multiplayer indiegames, even the larger ones. I've noticed four things related to meeting others:

* Most people play directly after they receive the invite, but traffic slows down afterwards. So chances to meet someone are highest right now.
* Most people play in the weekends.
* Most players live in the US or Europe. All of these people are awake from 17h - 22h GMT, so most people will be playing around that time.
* And the most important one: being online attracts other players. If everyone watches this page olvand.com/servers.php to see if the player numbers change, they will never change. I've noticed several time that 2-3 other players joined me once I started playing.

But probably the best solution is to simply invite your friends on the website - you can make them skip the line.

Good luck,
Wessel
