It is the dawn of the 22nd century, and the conquest of space has been monopolized by a handful of hugely ambitious mega-corporations. A delicate and vulnerable balance is maintained, but now, at the very edge of the solar system, a discovery has been made which will tip the scales forever — and send one ship and crew on an epic interstellar odyssey.
This picture was isolated from the footage recorded by the comms officer of the Angelwing during the Shukenja ambush. It is the clearest picture of the unknown alien ships that ambushed the Colossus at the derelict Shukenja station. The alien ships used an unknown technology to "jump" in and out of places using hit-and-run tactics to destroy their enemies. However, their lack of energy shields and thin hulls made them easy targets for the advanced weapons of the Angel Fleet. The ships disintegrated completely leaving very little evidence of their technology.
They remain a mystery even today.
Always loved the designs of these ships, wished the campaign explained more about their origin.
