I've still got my book sittin right here. Good find though.
I've got my manual with me as well; I was lucky to get a boxed copy way back in the day. Unfortunately a few features mentioned in the manual (such as gaining experience or stealth mode without a cloaking device) are either not very useful or don't work like they're supposed to in the actual game.
