Neverwinter Nights (NWN) is a computer game set in a huge medieval fantasy world of Dungeons and Dragons. This role-playing game (RPG) puts you at the center of an epic tale of faith, war, and betrayal.

NWN is a wonderful game. What surprised me was the amount of options you get to chose for your character when making him or her. There are 7 races to chose from and you can create your own sub race. There are many classes to chose from and then their is the alignment you chose for your character. The campaign is very long and the story is good - some of the areas are memorable - like Charwood village. I picked up the Deluxe edition for £1 which contains the two expansions - along with the toolset with which you can create absolutely nearly anything - this game is bound to give you hundreds of hours of game play. The RPG elements are great - it's a D&D game after all.
Conclusion:
A must have for RPG fans.

it's a example of a good rpg game.
well, i especially like WRPG style rpgs, but this one, this one really got my attention, because, you can customize you character in a big array of faces, races and things like that
the gameplay is a bit different from some games, because it's a mix of diablo + real time strategy(in my opinion)
the graphics are good for a old game.
and id'like to say something:
THIS GAME BEATS EVERY SINGLE RPG THAT CAME AFTER IT
and yeah, go check neverwinter nights 2 if you want, it's as good as this one :)

Awesome game where awesome modules can be created.
Try: The Baron in The Hole
"You are a beer baron who must deliver beer to the clients of your lord and master. For years, your life has been boring and without action but today...that would change forever. Go forth Beer Baron and meet your destiny!"
It contains explicit adult content, so be warned.

Decent role playing game but nothing like BG. It was far to easy as well which got boring. But I still remember some quests that I liked.
Nwn 2 is much better.

Played it only recently, it had been put aside (totally!) for a couple of years without even finishing Chapter One (and barely starting it).
It's quite fascinating and long, and immersing due to an intricate plot and many awe-inspiring side quests.
