Neverwinter Nights (NWN) is a computer game set in a huge medieval fantasy world of Dungeons and Dragons. This role-playing game (RPG) puts you at the center of an epic tale of faith, war, and betrayal.
NWN is a wonderful game. What surprised me was the amount of options you get to chose for your character when making him or her. There are 7 races to chose from and you can create your own sub race. There are many classes to chose from and then their is the alignment you chose for your character. The campaign is very long and the story is good - some of the areas are memorable - like Charwood village. I picked up the Deluxe edition for £1 which contains the two expansions - along with the toolset with which you can create absolutely nearly anything - this game is bound to give you hundreds of hours of game play. The RPG elements are great - it's a D&D game after all.
A must have for RPG fans.
it's a example of a good rpg game.
well, i especially like WRPG style rpgs, but this one, this one really got my attention, because, you can customize you character in a big array of faces, races and things like that
the gameplay is a bit different from some games, because it's a mix of diablo + real time strategy(in my opinion)
the graphics are good for a old game.
and id'like to say something:
THIS GAME BEATS EVERY SINGLE RPG THAT CAME AFTER IT
and yeah, go check neverwinter nights 2 if you want, it's as good as this one :)
Excellent rpg, with solid gameplay and breathtaking building tools. A must have for any rpg lover.
Awesome game where awesome modules can be created.
Try: The Baron in The Hole
"You are a beer baron who must deliver beer to the clients of your lord and master. For years, your life has been boring and without action but today...that would change forever. Go forth Beer Baron and meet your destiny!"
It contains explicit adult content, so be warned.
a remarkable game, still echoing in my mind even after years passed. immersive replay value, especially in co-op mp.
Best AD&D based RPG with DM mode client. Also best scene where classic pen and paper modules are being released by users over the years (still counting in 2016).
Now if I were to rate only the main singleplayer campaign, I'd go with 6 or maybe even 5/10. It's pretty standard for BioWare and doesn't allow much freedom for player. Expansions are fairly better.
But it's the Aurora editor and a **** tone of mods that make this game awesome. I've spent countless hours on making various worlds with it throughout last 7 years, using the tilesets made by developers and by community. It's an awesome feeling to build whole living cities by your own. And you can play with other people.
Other than that, I can say that I like the graphics, I think it's the first fully 3D game made by BioWare. Music is also good (Jeremy Soule!), but I'm fairly sure some of the tracks are variations of the main theme..
game this glitch load/respawn-monster bug very...
Game of my life, what can I say.
An amazing game with a brilliant toolset to boot too.
