Well, nzp running at 65 fps on psp. Unfortunatly the qc (games scripting code tha hadles weapons, zombies ai and so on) is being rewriten. Basicaly only thing in there is player being able to move XD
lol, the game is useless without zombies, unless you just want to walk around lol

you should put have the game only place in 15 zombies at once, if thatll reduce any problems?
the zombie count is at 12, if anything they should make it 8 or even 6, but will limiting zombies help?
less zombies - less lag, less zombies - less fun.
Then what's the point of showing this and saying "We're running at 65 fps"? That's like me moving everything out my room and saying "My room is completely clean" when afterwards I'm just going to be moving it all back in and making it messy again.
no its not like that because before when "the room was clean" it only ran at 60 fps. this shows how the code is being redone better and faster. plus using your terms, when they add the stuff back into the room they will have gone through it and thrown stuff away, thus when it goes back in the room the room is indeed cleaner.

hey is that map a new revision of the warehouse?
the "script or games logic code is much like c. It doesnt do fancy stuff like rendering, internet connections and so on, but rather control the cserver side stuff. (the game) engine is client side stuff (drawing, controls etc) and qc (the script) is server side code (all the action ;) )
Lets say qc is the movie and engine is the television. Everything happens in movie while tv shows it ;)
Soz for offtopic but I have a problem with NZ:P PC version. I start the game and an error pops up. It says something like shader is missing or something like that. I can see only white screen with sounds and HUD.
Btw, It would be awesome to get 65 FPS with PSP :D

One issue I foresee killing the fps is you guys are making the maps bigger and more detailed...for example..warehouse, Christmas Special and Wahnsinn are all bigger maps now with some more detail which might heavily weigh on ram limits.. not to mention all the little details yer adding like chairs, trees, bathtubs, etc. You might be able to get by with lower details but adding more while taking the same amount away would only mean the lag issues will remain the same..or even be worse than before. Christmas Special won't even load on the psp..also like you said zombies eat up ram...it seems to be their new favorite food. You guys do a good job though so I have every confidence you'll have these issues at least tolerable
