There are tons more changes coming in this new build but these are the biggest. It's taking us longer to get this patch ready to ship, but we will post a full changelog just as soon as it's ready.

As always it is great to see what you have done, also this time the video is so much better then the last one. Do not know if you changed it this way based on my post on moddb, but nearly everything´╗┐ now is like I have wished. Just the background music is too loud or youre voice is to silent. Also I think a good ending would be a 15-30 seconds video of´╗┐ you while you say something about the main focus for the next beta. Will give the video more personality and tease a bit for the next beta.
btw. Even if NS2 is for me currently unplayable (very low fps) it is a game that is so much fun to play, that i can not stop playing after a new update for some houres... It is like having a mind illness that force me to play it xD

I have an ATI Radeon 5850, a friend of mine who also can play it just with very low fps (40 average + often happening big drops under the 10 fps rate has a 5870. We both also have a quadcore cpu (AMD Phenom II x4 965). And we know, manypeople with the same cards can play it smooth, but for us (and some many people we met on a server) big fps drops/lags/what ever are usual.
PS: Just a question: who ever give me a - for my first comment, plz just tell me WHY, because I said what I think how to make the video even better? because I said, I love ns2 even if it currently for me is unplayable? because my english is not good? I can not see anything in my post that would have caused me to give anybody a -. Just saying my opinion, how playable this game currently is for me and constructive critic bout the video :/

imo u should play on max with about 100fps+ :D
In Source - new update of EP2 engine - i got drops only when Multicore Rendering is disabled. Maybe the same is with Sparkle?
I got Asus G51JX and i hope this game will work smooth.

SPAWN MORE OVERLOARDS!

Questions,
1. Will the aliens Flashlight ability drain energy? Cuz I'm thinking is it should if rines FL does.
2. Does this mean chambers can ONLY be built on creep that is connected to an active hive? In other words, limiting gorgies building places to just hive rooms and surrounding areas?
3. Will we be seeing Tantith, Hera, Eclipse or Origin in NS2?

Awesome update, have been waiting to hear more about infestation and look forward to seeing how it evolves. Feel like i'm pointing out the obvious but in the grenade launcher (fixes) portion of the video the 3rd grenade launches from the center of the screen rather from the grenade launcher. I'm sure it's been noted already but felt it best to mention it just in case. Keep up the great work.
