This really looks like one of the levels in the 2005 game area 51
That was a fun game.. Anyways, looks great.
That would not make a good design for an NS 1 hive room because marines could shoot that hive from way over here and pick off any newly spawned alien players before they could get to the marines to defend the hive.
So unless the hives in NS2 have force fields or the skulks have guns this looks like a bad hive room design to me.
Lol you make a good point, however I don't think spawn-raping aliens was their main focus when creating this concept art.
Once they actually create all the models and textures you see, they can make the room however they want in game.
Are those sperm cells flying around in the room? XD
anyway...this looks awsome, I so badly want to buy this :D
They're affectionately known as 'glowies' and if things go according to plan they should turn into eggs which alien players spawn from.
