The plot of Revelation ties up loose ends from the original Myst. The player is summoned by Atrus, a man who creates links to other worlds known as Ages by writing special linking books. Almost twenty years earlier, Atrus' two sons nearly destroyed all of his linking books and were imprisoned; Atrus now wishes to see if his sons' imprisonment has reformed them.

The story is the best of all of the Myst games, the puzzles are memorable and the Ages are breathtaking.

Brilliant performances by the actors, breath taking scenery, and difficult puzzles. The plot line is immersing and fun.
The only down part is an inconsistency in the time it takes to find a prison world and the time Atrus is gone in the original Myst game.
It is everything one would want in an adventure/puzzle/rpg like game.
