First my two issues,

You can't turn in mid air. This is fairly annoying coming from other similar games where this is pretty much always possible, but I can see how it could be a conscious choice, it does weaken ranged weaponry quite a bit and that might be needed considering how powerful rapid fire is. But nothing really stops me from jumping before I move backwards so it doesn't really change too much i feel.

Secondly there's some strange aim bugs on some weapons, uppercut and rapid fire most notably, uppercut is consistent, happens every time. When you assign it to up or down action you don't hold any directional button that matters for aiming, it defaults to aiming to the right, which is not expected behavior, as cool as it is to do slashes behind your back. Rapid fire does it sometimes, then the aim goes completely bonkers, shooting in all directions. But it's a fairly rare occurrence with rapid fire, though at the time of the screenshot I managed to get it ~3 times in a row.

First image is rapidfire, second image is uppercut.

Now the plea, I noticed that if you doubletap block while running you go into a sprint, this is most likely not intended behavior but it's a great feature since I personally felt I wanted a startsprinting/holdtosprint button. This is a great middleground between a button for sprinting and doubledirection because sprinting directly can be a bit too easy to bring you on offence, with the double tap you're signaling your opponent quite clearly that you're starting to sprint, which is good. For NPC battles it's more of a convenience of course. It takes approximately the same time as doubletapping a direction. Also if you turn and tap block once you sprint too. This is much stronger than tapping, since you go into a dash almost instantly, but it's hardly an imbalance compared to weapon damage right now.

Please let this remain as is. Maybe this was intended, it's a very clever idea then.

Additionally I feel the color customization is lacking, it is of course a low priority in my eyes but coloring individual parts is something I'd love to see. Looking at how the system is currently it doesn't seem too hard to do except for implementing a UI for it. Also Gamersgate is on alpha update 8, which is quite a bit behind. Or is that just me?

Hi Snowey,

Thanks for letting us know that Gamersgate is still on Update 8...since we were unaware of that. Most of the things you described in the first part are already fixed!
If you want you punch a mail to contact at reptile-games.com and I'll hit you up with the latest version on the Humble Store. I'll also contact GG.

Cheers,
Tim

I actually just discovered this today. I could have sworn this post was asking for a sprint button or something, and I came back because I was going to suggest using it as a workaround. Oh well, I must have misread your thread the first time. Have a shiny gif anyway of immediate sprint using the shield.

I also agree the feature should be left intact.
