Just realized that the robot theme and parts is very similar to the anime "Medabots". If one were to borrow a few more mechanics (data core instead of medal, "gender"... Dare I say "medaforce" special attack?) but looking at the parts design... You might be doing that already... I probably should have noticed earlier! *facepalm* Anyone have any thoughts on this? |

I noticed this too, medabots do look a lot like the ingame parts at times, also the game reminds me of the custom-robo game mixed with super smash bros setup. Makes me super happy when I think about it like that, those games give me good memories. Although, in my opinion I think the game needs more special parts that do unique abilities and less parts that only give stat bonuses. I understand it likely takes LOTS of time to develop a whole new part with attacks, but I would expect that an awesome developer like Reptile can do it with ease. Which does bring me to a question, perhaps Reptile could make a blog post on the process of making a part, with special abilities and all? Or a video would be cool, just something to communicate to the community the time and brainpower it would take to implement an idea. Edited by: Hugabooga |

Hi Hugabooga, That sounds like a good idea! Adding new parts is basically juggling between Dion and I. Spamming and testing ideas, drawing, modelling etc. But, yes, good idea i'll probably write a blogpost about making new parts/abilities in the near future! |
