Its better than capture mode, it removes health bars above cars as well as tutorial tips. You can enable and disable it in game with the capslock key or right thumbstick on the gamepad. Enjoy. Basically when your screen starts to get red you know your dying and in case you wanna check your ammo count or other stuff you can toggle it.

This is a lot better though it does obviously need tweeking. I feel more immersed without all them silly hints, glows and the map on screen. Much rather switch to the main map. Just needs tweeking so there is no messing with having to turn all on to see menus etc.
