Awesome man, do you just need to download cheat engine or do you have configure the trainer with it? I'm not familiar with cheat engine at all really.
Wheatland Yeah you really just have to install Cheat Engine to be able to use this version of the trainer. Cheat Engine is a tool for hacking games.
That's what I thought, I'm pretty sure I installed the latest/correct version of Cheat Engine. But when I tried launching the trainer it gave me an error saying; "please update your Cheat Engine to 6.3 or later". So I'm not entirely sure on what to do next. Could you maybe provide a link to the version of Cheat Engine your using? That might help.
Also do you have a Patreon? You totally deserve compensation for all the help you given me lol.

I was afraid that the version would be an issue. I need to check things then. For example, there is a Lua code line that checks CE version. I got my CE from Cheatengine . org. I've been told this is the official site.

I have CE version 7.2. And the trainer checks if your version is equal or higher than the required version number 6.4. Are you sure you have 6.4 or higher?
So the version of CE I've been trying to use is the most recent "raw" version provided by CE that doesn't come with any kind of ad installer Cheatengine.org like the main version with the installer does. But for some reason, with the raw version installed and running, the trainer still won't recognize it. I'd prefer to use the raw version, but if I have to use the one with the installer just let me know. Thanks man.
Edit: They do give a 100% clean version if you join their patreon which the trainer will probably recognize as opposed to the raw version I've been trying to configure. If you can't get the raw version to recognize it I'll try donating and using the clean version they offer.
You need to be more specific, is it built from source? I suppose it is not a Patreon version?
If you click on the link I sent you'll see that there are two versions available to download. One with the The CE installer that uses an installcore software recomendation pluginNote:, and a second version that is just the raw files without any file configuration.

But really, I can probably turn the version block to a warning instead. It can most likely lead to crashes for people with old versions. But at least, I can warn them.
Oh, now I get it. I have never seen the "raw" thing before, only the Patreon one. I have a suggestion that Cheat Engine might store version number in Windows' registry. Anyways, the solution above should do it.
Gotcha, let me know when it updates :). they don't specify what version the raw files are so if it still gives me issues even after you remove the block I'll just get the patreon one.
