Lift aims to make a Mech based multi-player game, doesn't just LOOK like the anime its based off of, but feels like the anime its based off of. You will fly thought the sky and battle for your life, in over the top action packed mech battles. Battle on the ground or in the sky on Reff boards that give you control over crazy amounts of power and speed. We are still working on this one, but here's a progress report for you kids! The over all idea is in place, but some fine tuning needs to be done to make it more fun, and a little less difficult.
We also sill need to add in animations.

be like this Yfrog.com instead if straight lines , and when you're making soft turns trails shoudnt be straight lines :D I'm just saying :D
trapar and agreed this is acceptable if its the settings on a lower machine but higher machine's would prob like the Real wave like effect on the Trapar in the anime
I like the Wind Shield thing though looks awesome!
If one of you has any clue on how you would make a 'real wave' like effect, please tell me. I haven't a clue on how to make the trapar any better.
Procedural mesh generation is extremely difficult, thusly they are currently planes that are generated where the emission point has been, with an animated texture on them.
If your looking for the feeling of trapar waves you just gotta add motions of what the LFO does while flying as well as adding more body functions mainly on the legs and arms.

yeah, all it needs is some motion of the arms and legs or anything, but otherwise this looks great
