Bought this game sometime after the first few months of it's initial release. I was absolutely sold on it given the fact that it's made by the same creator who did Soldat, another game I had spent hours of my time on throughout my middleschool and highschool career.

KAG is definitely worth the money, it does have a slight learning curve to it, but once you get the entire feel of it down, you can pull off some crazy (and often hilarious) kills. Bombs exploding, Arrows flying, Swords slashing and giblets spewing, all of it coupled with the churtling, and famous Wilhelm screams for each character's death sound, this is a game that I'd say is an indie classic.

KAG offers a highly tactical base gameplay for a side-scrolling type game, where it's up to the player how the level is going to look, or how strong their teams defenses are. Though, this means that the games can drag out for a very long time. I have seen some of them extend beyond thirty minutes, several times, though the limited respawn system they have takes care of that for the most part. It also brings in a level of anxiety once there's only fifty to one-hundred respawns left for your team and the enemy has the upper hand.

KAG is in a league of it's own, there's very few side-scrolling games like it. This game suits all play styles: Charging, Defending, Sniping, or even Building and support to an extreme scale. If you're thinking about purchasing this game, just buy it. At only ten dollars, it's an absolute steal of a deal.
