Hammerfight is about 2D battles of flying machines equipped with various slashing, piercing and blunt weaponry.
This game really is pretty amazing. It went out and pioneered an interesting control scheme and play mechanic that really seems to work.
It takes a few to really get into, and there's some super tough (frustratingly tough even) stages kinda early on... but it really is FANTASTIC if you give it a chance!
