In Halo: Reach, players experience the fateful moments that forged the Halo legend. It’s the story of Noble Team, a squad of heroic Spartan soldiers, and their final stand on planet Reach, humanity’s last line of defense between the terrifying Covenant and Earth. This darker story is echoed by grittier visuals amid a backdrop of massive, awe-inspiring environments. Characters, enemies and environments are rendered in amazing detail by an all-new engine designed to deliver epic-scale encounters against the cunning and ruthless Covenant.

More like 8.5 because this is another really good Halo game, very close to Halo 3, if it only didn't abuse suicidal Grunts, probably has the most of them out of the entire franchise, and Elites have much stronger melee, but other than that it's a great combat sandbox with a lot of recurring, old and unique elements. The storyline feels a bit more disjointed akin to Halo CE and opposed to Halo 2 or 3, but it's still engaging and entertaining to follow, the missions are creative and memorable for the most part, and some of the characters' deaths are really moving. Way to go out with a bang, Bungie!

Out of the Halo Games, this is by far the best out of them all.

Everything about this, Story, Co-op, and Multiplayer, is just perfect! ^.^
