Green Page is an upcoming singleplayer open world survival horror video game in development. The game is set to release on PC for Microsoft Windows via digital distribution platforms, and is currently in alpha testing. Inspired by the Stalker games, this places the player in the fictional city of Old York, thirty years after the nuclear apocalypse. As a survivor with limited supplies, the player must scavenge the world for food, water, weapons, and medicine. Players will have to hunt, trade and camp(with tents and sleeping bags) in order to survive the long cold nights. Humanity has built concrete walls around them to save the last piece of civilization. Enjoy the hot bath and fresh fries in town. However, outside of those walls, it is every man for himself. Tanking into a swarm of hostiles will most probably get you killed. Instead, form a team of trustworthy fellows and withstand the bandits out in the field. Lastly, what is a green page? Well, we shall find out.

The Dev Team had its highs and lows over the last few weeks. We've relocated our Dev Cave (now this would be where the Dev Team is working on Green Page) to a new place and had some of our equipments failing after the move. It was relatively stressful to have a lengthy break in our work flow and took us even longer to get back into development. Regardless, we love our new location and the best part about our place is that it is llarge enough to house our gears and toys all in the same room. We've already bought an airsoft gun and a dart board just for the sake of it. Also, we have two guitars and a drum set in the room in case we need to liven up our inspirations.
All things aside, we welcome supporters and visitors of Green Page. There are few things that I would like to share about current development.
1. FireRiot Joins the Dev Team
As much as I enjoyed being that cool lonewolf, it was time for more hands. Hence we welcome FireRiot to the Development Team. He is an amazing artist and many of the inventory menus and GUI assets are getting revisited and improved at the moment by him. He is also a happy League of Legends player and a tea lover in case anyone is eager to find out what he is like. Also, FireRiot is insanely good at impersonating Christian Bale's version of Batman, so I often ask him :)
Once again, welcome FireRiot!
2. Green Page website is under construction
This had to happen sooner or later, hence we began working on our website. Facebook integration will probably happen upon Alpha release so keep sending emails to email@example.com should you guys have any suggestions or queries about Green Page. Alternatively, post messages at our IndidDB page.
3. Changes to Gameplay Mechanics
While I've promised myself that I will no longer make changes to the game design, I've done it again(sigh). We've come to a conclusion that it will greatly enhance game play experience if Green Page features Hideout/Town building and management. In another words, players will be able to start hideouts and install or buy building upgrades and fortifications. Eventually, players could turn the hideout to a larger town/settlement should he desires. By the end of next week, I should be able to post a game play video, where the hideout/base building feature will also be introduced, so stay tuned for this one!
4. Release Date and Funding
We've had numerous requests to start a Kickstarter funding for Green Page and we are reviewing our options at the moment. But at the same time, I strongly feel that it is up to us, the Dev Team of Green Page to at least showcase a gameplay video before any discussions about funding arises. We will try our best to have this game out there, so just bear with us. Regarding the release date, I am not able to give you guys a specific date, but believe me, we are almost there. So stay frosty.
Now, as we usually do with our news update, I am including a new screen shot. I will soon upload screenshots of in-game items so come back in a hours.
WIP M4 Mesh with some attachments and parts. Note that Green Page features weapons modification and customization. Enjoy and feel free to comment.
