An Update Journal on Greebroll exploring how the game is currently going.

Greebroll has been both a curse and a blessing to me.

Along the journey, which mind you started back on October last year, I've had to face several problems with this game. One of them was that everytime I start a new project, I would end up coming with a better idea and ditching the current game leaving me with barely and even half completed games.
When making Greebroll I made sure that I made some of the levels first and then the Menu designs.
For some reason, and I couldn't figure out why, I kept on working on Greebroll even though I got greater ideas. Finally after completing 25 levels I had decided that it was going to be a difficult game to play and to make.

I set up a survey to see how people would go playtesting only a short section of the game and I got positive responses, also the word which commonly kept popping up was 'frustrating' and 'addictive'.

I had successfully created a short demo of a game which would keep people going for around 30 minutes or more. This was the moment when I chose to finish this game. At the start I was very ambitious thinking about thousands of levels, a level creator and achievements but as I am now here typing this I realise I have made a substantial amount on this game. The end goal is becoming slowly more clearer as go on.
With 240 levels done and 80 to go, I'm slowly starting to get this game out there, on the web.
I hope to be posting more about this game shortly.
