Greebroll is an atmospheric simplistic ball platformer with vivid and colourful visuals which gets you shouting at the screen as you frantically roll through hundreds of levels completing objectives whilst trying to stay alive. Greebroll will almost certainly get you addicted into its incredibly challenging levels as you immerse yourself through the colourful and lively courses at your own pace accompanied by its abstract soundtrack.

Greebroll Alpha 02 Released

Working through Greebroll to upload this second Alpha release has been quite long and tedious.
One of the main key updates is an update to the start of each level. Adding a prompt which requires you to 'click to start' was essential so if the game was taking sometime to load a level, people would be allowed to go 'afk' without the level restarting and loading again in a loop.

I added an extra feature to the Video Playback menu so that Greebroll can slow down/speed up the recordings to get it the right speed.

There were many minor improvements such as improving the particles which burst out the ball to be more random and strong but one big step I took was setting up the layout and setting for the Stats Menu. This took time as I wanted the menu to flow with the theme of the other menus but I wanted to make sure it was looked different.

All of the Curve levels are now complete, which just leaves me with the Typo and (SECRET) pack to make. Almost all of the Sound FX/ Ambience Tracks are now editable via a text file (you can change the pitch/volume) as well as being able to import your own music into the game however the larger the filesize, the longer the levels take to load.
