I am running Windows 10 64-bit. I am trying to install DMagic1's GTA3 Wheel Mod into my GTA III folder so I can use a car mod pack called GTA 3 True Vehicle Pack. The problem is that when I try to run the installer, it tells me to install in C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTAIII, but the game folder is located on an external drive. When I direct it to the drive, it says, "The path to GTA 3 is invalid; please enter the correct path." So I moved the folder to C:\Program Files, and it says the same thing. I don't know why.
So I tried to install it manually. The manual instructions say, "Add this line to the default. dat file below MODELFILE MODELS\GENERIC\wheels.dff.
MODELFILE MODELS\GENERIC\nowheel.DFF" So I opened MODELS\GENERIC\wheels.dff in my GTA 3 folder, but the entire file is written like this:
