Garry’s Mod is a sandbox mod for the Source Engine. Unlike normal games there aren't any predefined aims or goals. Players are given tools and are left to entertain themselves. The player is in a world where objects can be created and destroyed on demand. Where people can be created and destroyed with the click of a mouse. A world made for him. A world he made.
In the early stages of the Consortium's European Offensive against the Commonwealth of Isotx; the Consortium surrounded the Isotxian-held city of OMG City that was located directly on the former frontline between the Commonwealth and the Facepunch Empire.
The Isotxian Military Forces and the small allied contingent consisting of Brenodi, RED, and Earth Empire soldiers inside the city refused to surrender and withheld against endless waves of Consortium attacks for two days before being relieved by Allied forces.
The strategic importance of the battle is that it bogged many of the enemy's forces preventing their use against the Isotxian and Allied forces holding Hamburg and Bonn where the Commonwealth put a stop to the enemy's offensive and launched a major counter offensive that destroyed a majority of the Consortium's forces and forced the Facepunch Empire to retreat from the European continent. The victory also created a ever-growing chasm between the Facepunch Empire and it's new allies, BLU and the Northern Faction as many inside the Empire including PM Newman are beginning to question their allegiance to the Consortium.

Well the idea behind the Isotx verse is that it is semi-based off the internet why some of the cities in that dimension are named after GMOD RP maps and the nations named after the major forums I'm active on(Isotx and Facepunch).
