Russia is only one of the many countries across the dimensions involved in the war that had been torn apart by the war as different factions within their governments, militaries, or population ally themselves with either the Allies, Consortium,other, or in rare cases, the Combine.
The result in hundreds of smaller wars breaking out as these factions collide for control.

It is a unintentional reference, The Russian Spetsnaz are representing post Soviet Russian Spetsnaz and the RED Sniper is representing Reliable Excavation and Demolition(RED).
I know TF2 takes place in the 1960s, but my screenshots focus around a trans-dimensional war between the Allies(RED, Earth Empire, Isotx/The Commonwealth, Brenodi Empire, Human Resistance from HL2, and various survivor groups and minor powers), the Consortium (BLU, Northern Faction, the Facepunch Empire, and their sympathizers/supporters), and the Combine Empire. So therefore time doesn't really matter in my screenshots.

Well a majority of Facepunch has never been a fan of using TF2 models alongside the real life the models of Hl2, CSS, DoD, and ETC. Which is why I don't post these there
Well, for my part I've posted a few crossovers there, they were kinda liked, but myea, they'd like your non tf2 stuff, then, that's for sure, if you could just get a bigger monitor you'd be up there.
