Freedom Fall is a diabolical down-scrolling platformer set in a prison tower so tall it touches the clouds. Presented with hand painted art, its old school vibe mixes with fast-paced free falling action and a story with both dark wit and heart. With the promise of freedom for those who escape, find your way through the traps and mechanical monstrosities set up by a twisted princess who you'll wish was in another castle. As your bid for freedom continues you start to see that things aren't quite as they seem. In the end you'll determine who is guilty and who is innocent … but until then there are lots of deathtraps to avoid, killer balloons to bounce off, jetboards to ride and even a dragon to fight!

Final 3 Countdown

3rd Place Freedom Fall

Developer & Publisher Stirfire Studios
A diabolical down-scrolling platformer set in a prison tower so tall it touches the clouds.

2nd Place Redsun RTS

Developer & Publisher Extraapp
Designed for fans of old school Command & Conquer. But we decided to bring this universe to mobile devices. We try to show as much as possible in the game the same thing that was in Red Alert 2 We again touched on the subject of the Alliance and the Soviet Union. The game's plot is simple, and the confrontation begins.

1st Place OTTTD

Developer SMG Studio
We're cramming everything into one RTSTDRPG! It's an Over The Top Tower Defense game for those that are confused.

Lock, load and let the gibs fly in OTTTD, a Tower Defence/RTS game with RPG elements that pits you against some of the weirdest creatures in the multiverse.

You play as a commander for HEROCORP™, the 4th largest private military organization in the galaxy. A long period of peace has left the company coffers a little bare so the science division developed Trans-Dimensional Rifts, opening up lucrative opportunities for war in other universes. It's like Starship Troopers meets Stargate meets Spaceballs, with way more explosions!

We would also like to take this moment to list a few honorable mentions.

That wraps up the 2014 Editors choice... up next your top upcoming apps and the grand finale, Player Choice 2014!

Hey guys, we're definitely trying to get this sorted out. Apologies that this is taking so long and we're not sure what the hold up is. From our end we've emailed groupees before and had no reply back as of yet, and we just sent them another email asking for an update.

Once we hear back we will update you all with more info.

And we've just sent off the requested keys to Groupees, so with any luck you should be getting those keys soon!

It's been a week, where the hell are the groupee keys? Are the devs too busy counting their money to provide an update?

Are customers who purchased the game from Groupees going to get Steam keys? Only customers who purchased the game from the Indie Royale Bundle are getting keys.

The high reviews on here are more than justified. Freedom Fall is a real gem of a game. The concept is simple, avoid the various obstacles as you cascade down a number of very tall buildings. It might hark back to a time where games were simpler, but don't let that fool you into thinking that the graphics are 16-bit quality. They are big, bright and colourful, and it looks fantastic. This is a prime example of Steam dragging their heels and generally messing up the Greenlight process. So many lesser…
