Update Notes v.875 - New Epic cards are here! - We introduced a mini card set with some fantastic new cards. - New experience system - Even if you lose...
Forgotten Myths is a free to play online collectible card game that incorporates deck building, card collection and strategic gameplay in a fantastic historical background. Forgotten Myths is inspired by more strategic card games such as Magic the Gathering and World of Warcraft Trading Card Game. You will build a deck from a total of 150 unique cards with some of the most amazing art you have ever seen. You can complete daily quests to gain experience and gold, compete against other players in ladder games and tournaments, and make duels where you can win bounty and cards.
The core card game is most similar to the classic Magic the Gathering. However the gameplay is still unique as it incorporates a much faster style than MtG. The objective is simply to defeat your opponent by reducing his/her life to zero. The battlefield is divided into zones where your attack and fortification cards will go. In order to provide you with a fast and dynamic gameplay, attack phases in Forgotten Myths are automatic. To further add to the strategy, there are fortification and enchantment cards to improve attack cards, as well as various card abilities and spell cards.
Beyond the core game, there is a RPG style level progression and tournament ladder. You can both advance in levels and ranks, while challenging other players in multiplayer tournaments.
First Forgotten Myths expansion "Nature's Fury" is finally here! We are happy to be releasing the first expansion of many more to come. This expansion brings a whole new faction to the Forgotten Myths universe. Here is a sneak peek from the story:
“The war between Mara, Thengel, and Khubera now threatens the forest kingdoms to the west. Druids of the Berethil Forest gather their forces to defend their sanctuaries. The River Kingdom makes an alliance with the druid lords against the invading forces.
The disturbance within the woodlands awakens the dormant and silent forest creatures. Fangs, claws and teeth now become weapons. Ents of the Aiar Temple convene the Old Council to once again fight back the intruders that march on their doorstep.”
