The first WWII naval game to bring base building and combat on the same map (that we know of!). Build factories, ports and airfields in the Pacific, bring in ships and aircraft, and drive the enemy from the battlefield. Flotilla WWII brings classic tile-based action enhanced with simple and intuitive base building, providing for both small quick battles and longer island-hopping campaigns in randomly generated maps for endless fun. Play against the AI which is simple but aggressive, or play against a friend on 1vs1 hotseat multiplayer.

Tactical gameplay with lots of units to use and challenging combat. Base building is a great feature, just the AI is acting weird sometimes.
The experience is best in hotseat ;) Glad you like the rest of the game, and given that I haven't had formal education on AI, I'll take "weird sometimes" as a compliment :P If there are any bug-fixing patches I'll try tweaking it a bit, if you have specific observations I'd be glad to hear them!
No kamikaze attack for japanese planes.. 6.5/F+

Can't believe I hadn't thought of kamikazes during the development months, if there's a sequel they're definitely in though!
