Description

The British No.69 Grenade was designed as an offensive grenade with a less destructive power than the No.36M “Mills Bomb”. To reduce the radius of lethality, and potential harm to the thrower, the casing was made of Bakelite plastic instead of metal. The No.69 was an impact-only grenade, meaning it would detonate as soon as it hit a solid surface.
