Equestrian Terrors is a MLP:FIM inspired survival horror game. It's planned to be episodic, with each episode being a self-contained story that does not follow any linked main story line. The game will be heavily focused on escaping rather than combat, however there will be instances where you can slow down and impede enemies as you attempt to do so.

Hahaha that was fast. Yeah, this chapter takes place right after "Feeling Pinkie Keen", so it's a bit early on in the series.
And yup! That's the plan! Magic will be used for getting away, making barricades, accessing hiding places, puzzles, etc.

Will this be used for cutscenes or is the whole game third-person?
Well, I'm going to animate the model, so I think I'll probably end up leaving the choice to the player. It'll default to be first person, but there will be a key to change it to a chase camera. There's only one room with a mirror so far, so it'd be kinda silly to make animations that can only be seen through a shadow cast on the floor.
