21st Century side scrolling. Musicians are warriors here! San Francisco is on the verge of being invaded by mysterious creatures. The city has become darker, quieter, and gloomier. The story is told through a group of musicians who have learned the ways of super natural powers from the use of music. The epic production is more than just a video game – Playing musical instruments to fend off enemies is going to be the main reason why Project Encore is unique. Notes being played through various instruments and memorized songs will give a high amount of output for users. Characters will have an in depth background stories and strong character development, throughout the production you will experience: original music, detailed animations, and quality showcasing.

It is a fraction of what the actual demo is going to look like but we just wanted to share with you a bit of our adventure of hardcore business development and relentless programming. Good process. :) I'm excited to see it, and I thought it was funny to see the default XNA icon. It's great to see more development studios writing games in managed code such as C#. It's possible! Don't knock managed code in game development.

Not much to say as what is done so far is brief. I do like it though. In the comic above you have words when the creatures are hit. I think it would be cool to have those appear when the creatures are hit and maybe a mini flash that appears with the word; much like Gamecube's Viewtiful Joe.

Was a little short, and would have been nice if you put in some walls to block the player from running off the edge of the map. but good progress and hope to see more soon.
