Dungeon Siege combines the immersive elements of a role-playing game with over-the-top intensity and non-stop action. Dungeon Siege plunges you into a continuous 3D fantasy world where you face off against an army of evil that has been unleashed. Dungeon Siege is a RPG set in the "Kindom of Ehb" in a medieval type timeframe, similar to games like Diablo. It was created as a highly modable game, and released with an indepth Game Editor, as well as a 3D modelling program. There are a large number of mods in production for the game, extending and pushing its brilliant immersive gameplay to the edge.
Fun to hack your way through hordes of enemies with a squad of ~eight guys :) . Great party management, lots of spells, lots of different spell types and one of the best multiplayer open maps if you have the mod Legends of Utrae installed and the mod Dungeon Siege Revived installed. If you are a summoner guy, try the unlimited summonings mod (even more fun than it sounds).
The best role game i've played!!!!!
It is an interesting and well made tactical game, where you can create your own character and fight waves of monsters: undeads, ice monsters, goblin, trolls there are alls. The story is charming and with secrets, Npc's and arcan items.
The legends of Aranna expansion pack make it more interest to play. But the graphics can be emproved.
I'm generally not much of a fan of RPG PC games.....compared to other genres....
Dungeon Siege is a rare RPG that I have owned for a long time -- as well as played all the way through about 5 times. It's still so good of a game with such high 'replaybility' value that I end up playing it all over again once every several years.
The in-game GUI is very well designed, once you learn it. I love how you start out from rags -as a very simple inexperienced peon-farmer......and very, very slowly increase strength and dexterity.....as well as end up buying and trading many items that become more and more lavish with every succeeding town you stop at. Makes me feel kind holy -like Lehi- with all the trading you do and the fact that you 'progress' little by little - so that by the end of the game, you are much much more stronger and experienced than you began as a farmer -- and literally are ready to visit 'hell' and vanquish the demonic Seck in their own lava chambers....

Pick everybody around your journey and lets have some "party". Yeah, old classic hack and slash RPG with linear storyline. Played in LAN long ago with college friends and it was quite fun.
