Production of the project has been going for a long time since sometime around 2007. I worked on it as an on/off project. I did a Doom 2 compile attempt about 5 year's ago, been trying to make Doom 1/2 mods that compile levels for each game.
Basically if you enjoyed running through episode 1 on the latest build (13/7/13), you'll notice the 2nd episode was already being extended through the near end of episode 1.
