Explore star systems, asteroid fields, gas clouds, supernovae, galactic storms and black holes. Discover evidence of civilizations long since past, uncovering secrets about the galaxy's troubled history... Best of all, you can play the game your way: enjoy a quick, intense game in a crowded galaxy or take your time in an epic game spread across a vast galaxy!
The long-awaited Shadows expansion for Distant Worlds has arrived and the Human Revolution mod gets an appropriate update to work along with that excellent expansion. Human Revolution adds five new human factions to Distant Worlds and updates the vanilla humans as well.
All the traditional Human Revolution factions have been ported over and are now fighting it out in the new Shadows galaxy. The mighty Merchs, the terrible Fasce, the beautiful Eva, the Peaceful Grun, the technological Cyborgs again conquer the galaxy for the human race alongside the updated version of the vanilla human faction.
No other downloads are required; everything needed is included in the package! The download also includes the optional Newsreader add-on, which displays nice news broadcasts featuring the beautiful Mélissa Theuriau, which fits well when playing human factions. The mod will need some tweaking still, but it's good to go and playable. Many thanks to Mugais, who has been working with the ship names in the mod as well as the unique characters.
