Doom Pistol sound in the trailer?
I actually purchased that sound off SoundRangers.com a number of years ago. Didn't realize at the time how much that sounded like Doom. I get that comment a lot, so maybe one of these days I'll get around to updating that sound.
Why? If it is legally used, it just makes it all the more classy.
Well that was my thought too, but a few people have accused me of stealing it. Sigh...
Well, I wasn't accusing you of stealing it as I know a lot of sounds from games back those days were borrowed too and shared in other games. It just instantly clicks in my head that it is the Doom Pistol sound :P
No problem! Guess I'm just a little sensitive to it after getting bombarded with it on Greenlight. Sorry!
Looks fun, but you seriously have to do something about the running animation :O
