In the past, Didgery seemed to be the type of game that lacked mass appeal. I didn't like at all like this, so, for the past month, I have been redesigning Didgery and systematically removing barriers. The result is a streamlined game that looks and plays significantly better.
In addition to creating a Zen Mode for relaxed play, a number of improvements were realized in Nightmare Mode as well. The Elemental Mantle has been merged directly into the game board itself. The Harmony Level (or Health Points if you will) is moved front and center and enlarged for easy viewing. The focus to last as long as possible is made clear by a timer at the bottom of the game board. Removal of the Elemental Mantle freed up space to the right of the game board, which was taken advantage of by enlarging the game board to a 6x4 over the previous 5x4 size.
