In the past, Didgery seemed to be the type of game that lacked mass appeal. I didn't like at all like this, so, for the past month, I have been redesigning Didgery and systematically removing barriers. The result is a streamlined game that looks and plays significantly better.
One of the first things I implemented in the new version was a Zen Mode. Many players complained that the structure of the previous Didgery (which consisted of a singular mode now known as Nightmare Mode) made it difficult to thoroughly enjoy the game. Unlike NightMare Mode, Zen mode has no losing condition or time-limit. Levels have been removed in favor of an infinite-play mechanic. The enlarged gameboard, now a 6x4 instead of 5x4, allows for larger and more expressive chains.
