Where do you turn where your heroes are dead? Welcome to Death To Heroes. A Beat'Em'Up Shoot'Em'Up Action game with unique detective/ puzzle features. Your story follows a young Johnny Tilago and his hunt for the man who brutally murdered his superhero father. Pre-maturely donning the mask of his predecessor, John goes out into the world searching for answers, not even knowing the bullseye on his chest. The single player campaign is one thing, providing a unique, gothic, bloody comic art-style. But the experimental multiplayer is something to keep your eyes peeled for in the coming months. 8-Player Competitive multiplayer features two teams of four in over 12 different situations- Superheroes vs. Supervillains, Superheroes vs. Henchmen, Henchmen vs. Henchmen, etc. Player progression, custom characters, and unlockables!

Midnight City takes strong architecture inspiration from all of these iconic cities and much more from America's own. MC is the result of years of economic collapse, disaster, civil war, and the recent reconstruction of parts of the city after a revolution. Midnight City is the heart of an American renaissance, with architecture and art showing strong influence from the colonial period and Revolutionary war era. Torn propaganda of the opposing civil war sides still hangs on worn down buildings, smoldering flags wave for last hopes of freedom, whole city blocks are full of rubble and wreckage. You really do feel that this city was torn to cinders, and the parts that are being rebuilt have a completely different flavor than let's say, Neon District, which was heavily influenced by the technological and energy advancements of the early 22nd century. And the Neon District is a complete 180 compared to the Industrial District, which has an influence of Steampunk.
What would a city be without an iconic skyline? Wayne Industries, the Daily Planet's globe, the majestic Empire State building, the cash register building, and the list goes on. While working on the design of Midnight City's most prominent skyscrapers, I had to keep these things in mind.

Above are not my works, but is very similar to my incarnation of the city.
Midnight City has 5 different districts including the science district and the slums, and those are also major parts of the game, but I would rather show then tell for those areas. This city is a magnificent creation for our heroes, and represents the darker look "Silver and Golden Age" super heroes during the time of the revolution, the aftermath of that, and the reconstruction for a new and brighter generation...or so we hope.
