Daikatana is a 3D first-person action game developed by ION Storm. Daikatana contains a unique story, a vast amount of diverse environments to explore, ranging through 4 different time zones. It includes an enormous amount of enemies, weapons, 2 Artificial Intelligence(AI) Sidekicks, and spectacular 3D-accelerated graphics.
I personally dont know what everybody has against this game and why it is so terrible. I installed it along with the latest patch and I had no problem so far (I finished 2 of 4 episodes). I can recommend it for everyone who likes Doom, Quake or Unreal. There are lots of variable weapons, enemies and environments and the story is interesting enough to keep you playing. It is a very solid old-school FPS.
