Just some info to bring every one up to speed. "The Contact project started about a year ago, but had the first beta/alpha release in Oct this year. After some bug fixes and new content was added, the 2nd beta is released...."

The Contact project started about a year ago, but had the first beta/alpha release in Oct this year. After some bug fixes and new content was added, the 2nd beta is released.
The game is an open source real time tactics game, where players command a squad of 4 to 12 units against opposing squads. It can be played against AI but is primarily designed for multiplayer.
The game is ran on the spring engine, and does not have it's own unique install as of yet, so in order to play users must download and install the current spring engine build, and then place the Contact game module into the "/mods" sub folder in the spring installation directory.
Because the game is in beta stages there will be a chance of bugs and or balancing issues, but the best way to fix these is report your findings. You can do this be either using the moddb forums or the forums on the SrpingRTS website ( Springrts.com ).
Any suggestions, criticism, and/or feed back would be much appreciated!
Also if any one is interested in helping out the game give me a pm with what you think you can do to contribute. There are no official open positions in the Dev Team as of yet, but space might open up in the near future.
Thanks for your time and happy hunting!
