Conquest of Elysium 3 is an old school fantasy strategy game. You explore your surroundings conquer locations that provides the resources you need. Resources needed vary much depending on what character you are, e.g. the high priestess need places where she can gather human sacrifices, the baron needs places where tax can be collected and where iron can be mined. These resources can then be used for magic rituals and troop recruitments. The main differentiator for this game is the amount of features and special abilities that can be used. The game can be played on Windows, Linux (x86 and raspberry pi) and Mac OSX (intel and powerpc).

I'm just wondering if there's a way to create a solo game without any other human players or AI opponents. I'm much more interested in conquering a plane of land myself, dealing with all the local inhabitants (ergo, keeping the AI creatures) and stuff. Not so much interested in going toe-to-toe with an enemy nation. Anything for this such as mods?

Could probably make a mod that has a faction with a single immobile commander, that would mean you do have an enemy, but at the same time prevent them from expanding. I will whip one up after work today for you, if you want.

If you'd do that for me, I'd really appreciate it.

Sorry about taking so long on this, fell asleep before I finished the MASSIVE one unit faction... Anyways, I got halfway through making it and realized it had to survive random mobs wandering around, so the commander has a bunch of HP and armor, and is ethereal and regenerating. Should survive almost anything except a concentrated attack.

Been so busy wrapped up in work I totally forgot about the mod. This is obsoletely divine. Big thanks for this, pal.
