Conquest of Elysium 3 is an old school fantasy strategy game. You explore your surroundings conquer locations that provides the resources you need. Resources needed vary much depending on what character you are, e.g. the high priestess need places where she can gather human sacrifices, the baron needs places where tax can be collected and where iron can be mined. These resources can then be used for magic rituals and troop recruitments. The main differentiator for this game is the amount of features and special abilities that can be used. The game can be played on Windows, Linux (x86 and raspberry pi) and Mac OSX (intel and powerpc).

Please find a link to my new class mod, the Lady of the Lake.

This has been created for version 3.11 (although you will need to save and load to see summoning correctly, as with everything in 3.11).

The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that...etc...

In this realm, the Lady of the Lake is a powerful wizard, with a strong and diverse army including peasants, yeoman, men at arms and various knights. While in the castle near her lake, she can use Sapphires to summon great knights to join the crusade to conquer Elysium.

The Last Druid collects Herbs.
The Fey Enchantress collects Fungi.
The Green Knight collects Weed.
The Beastmaster uses Diamonds to summon flying beasts.
Grail Knights collect relics and gather Knights and Clerics for the Crusade.
The Black Knight collects sacrifices.
Grail Damsels and Maidens are handy wizards.

Lords are great commanders, but can also upgrade to Marquis and even Dukes. Dukes use Rubies and a temple to further the crusade. They often become surrounded by Courtiers and lickspittles.

The King, if he returns, will come on a flying beast, back from his travels. Some say he will only come if a Pretender King emerges to challenge him.

Travelling knights will sometimes arrive at your castle and be available. They are excellent fighters, and require reduced payment. They, along with some other knights, will fight dismounted if there mount is badly wounded. Once the battle is over, they will hopefully recover and find another mount. Questing Knights travel the land in your interest, seeking out items. They can summon dragons! (read that carefully).

Temples are very important, improving the number of knights recruitable and required for Pegasi, Pilgrims and Clergy.

Tactical guide: Your commanders and starting army is strong, and you should be able to carve out a Kingdom, or at least a Dukedom. Mines are important, especially as you need Sapphires (and the money). You need lots of Iron to recruit the preferred heavy troops. When you can finally save or trade for the necessary sapphires, you will start to be joined by the great knights. Pick carefully, as they are all expensive and can each be powerful, depending on what terrain you have taken. Hold temples whenever possible, they are vital.

Wow such a list of resources. Im thinking I would like her best as an AI opponent

I don't think she is overpowered, but she could be very strong in the late game. The problem with new classes is that the AI rarely knows how to play them, and this is a complicated one (with quests, etc). For the moment, I prefer to play it, and try to prevent the AI using it.

Playing this on knight difficulty, think it is a lot of fun. I enjoy all the options you have. I will not judge whether it's OP, since I have not played all the original classes yet. This does not matter when having fun in SP anyway. If someone wanna play them in MP, the players could agree on what they will play and test if it indeed is.

Edit: A few minor comments. Is it possible to give other names to Fey Enchantresses? They seem to get male names. For example I just recruited "Adolf the Fey Enchantress", seems a bit weird to say the least...

Is there a difference between small, medium and large dose, when summoning griffins? I always get 1 griffin no matter what I choose.

Cool. Thanks for the feedback. I think it starts out weak, but if you can get all the various types of commanders, it can be quite powerful. Mind you, it doesn't get the godlike powers of some of the original classes, so you might need all that stuff in the late game.

p.s I should revisit it and see if the new modding capabilities will let me upgrade a few of the features.

Please add a recruitable commander or something that will make it possible to recover from losing the beginning lord before you have a way to get iron.
