Conquest of Elysium 3 is an old school fantasy strategy game. You explore your surroundings conquer locations that provides the resources you need. Resources needed vary much depending on what character you are, e.g. the high priestess need places where she can gather human sacrifices, the baron needs places where tax can be collected and where iron can be mined. These resources can then be used for magic rituals and troop recruitments. The main differentiator for this game is the amount of features and special abilities that can be used. The game can be played on Windows, Linux (x86 and raspberry pi) and Mac OSX (intel and powerpc).

I did not find any idication in modmanual or by searching here in forum that commands can be altered, so that they are only relevant for human and/or AI player. E.g. trigger an event only for human player or only AI player. Allow a class only for AI or human (there are such clases i have one saved game with a beholder in a beholder cave as AI enemy).

Anyone knowing something?

There are no commands to mod AI or AI behavior.

Event triggers are a different thing. They are all listed in the map editor guide, like the modding manual says. There are no triggers that allow distinguishing AI players only. They could probably be added via patch, such that using a mod it would be possible to grant all AI players something or make something happen only to them while not happening to human players. But it requires a new patch and new mechanics to make it happen.

Thats a bit disappointing.

My main issue with the game is the AI failing at the game sometimes so hard and sometimes not, mainly because AI fails to buy enough commanders. That could have been easily solved by simply giving the AI bonus stationary commanders.

Stationary commanders?
There is a small file fragment that can be added to the end of any map to grant each players capital one Guardian statue. That seems to help AIs on low AI settings to survive past those early deaths better.

Problem is not early deaths.

Problem is AI has according to score graphs 4 times my troop numbers with me having hundreds in total and i win game by slaying a captain running around with 15 swords and 30 archers. The score graph shows a dip in troop strength of about 5-10%. And i didnt kill more than 10 commanders and bought myself something like 6, got offered around 30, so AI loss is simply from inability to divest something from his huge amount of resources to buying commanders. That sucks.

Maybe a solution would be to give every class a stationary, resource gathering commander at home citadel and a once a year event with moveable resource commanders for free. Would not help human much, but AI a lot. I think i try, should be easy to mod.

By all means, mod it and try it out.
