Combat Core is a 3D arena fighting game that borrows elements from games like Power Stone, Custom Robo, and Super Smash Bros. Hyper-powered multiplayer combat with custom fighters, weapon pickups, powerups, and environmental hazards! The game is currently in development for PC, Mac, and Ouya.

Hey Gang! I've been busy trying to get the word out about Combat Core, the demo has been making rounds on the web, and I've got some great feedback from players! PLEASE SUPPORT THE KICKSTARTER so I can continue to work on Combat Core full-time!
While it's great to see people enjoying the game, it's become glaringly obvious that a primer video for the game mechanics was needed! So here I will present:
Nothing fancy, but it explains some of the basic mechanics and the flow of combat.
Between trying to reach out to the press and social media, I've managed to actually still get some game dev time in, and added a new particle "Glow" effect to help visualize the when a character is generating energy in the pool. I'll be sure to make the new backer-only alpha a significant upgrade from the current demo!

Indie Game Magazine- IGM has been a huge help for me for months, and regularly featured my game for #screenshotsaturdays. They did a great article on Combat Core!
Indiemag.fr - Seldell wrote an article for Combat Core on this french indie gaming site! I can't actually read any of it, but I love the support!
I was also invited to participate in a podcast with the cool guys at GameEnthus.
