Celestial Impact

Celestial Impact is a team multiplayer FPS taking place on asteroids with spherical gravity. The game is unique in that the landscape can be deformed in every direction. Players can add or remove terrain during combat by aiming and firing a special tool called Dirtgun. Celestial Impact is a PC game developed in Sweden that started with a few university students having an idea of an unusual and fun game. The idea evolved into a larger spare-time project and has now reached a fully playable version.

Report article 1.10b Optional patch

A small optional patch is now out! This should solve some problems players had with not seeing servers and not beeing able to connect to them. The patch also features a few gameplay changes.

This patch should solve the problems some people had with not beeing able to see or connect to any server.

While this patch is not needed to still be able to play Celestial Impact online, it is recommended that everyone download it since it also contains some other bug fixes. A full changelog is included with the game.

The patch also brings a few gameplay changes:

Grengun has bigger explosion radius and slightly higher damage.
Grengun fire delay is higher.
Hitting someone with the railgun now requires slightly more precision than before.
Players drop their current weapon when killed.

These changes will be in effect for all players on a 1.10b server, even for those still using 1.10.

Get the new version here as a patch or full version. Please report any problems or suggestions on our forum.
