The solution to Air+Linux issues is here! If the Desura client asked you to install air to play Cardinal Quest, using Air 2.6 runs it just fine.

Just finished it, had a lot of fun, great little game. Wished it would have been a bit longer, but still a blast to play. Looking forward to Cardinal Quest II, I'll be sure to vote for it on Greenlight next time I get on Steam.

Lovely game. The graphic is quite good, but the things that really amaze me is the sound, it's marvelous. I hope the sequel wil be successful.

The game was fun while it lasted, but it was way to short and easy.

Fun game, though I would have liked to have seen some kind of endless (or much much longer), scored mode, one-life, more roguelike. Not bad though.

Hey there, I've played the game several times before but now I installed it again and everytime i start the game Adobe AIR gets an error and says that the instalation is damaged and that I need to reinstal. I've installed it like 5 or 6 times and I still have the same error. Any thoughts?

How many dungeon level exist in the game? I could not manage to pass floor4.

8 floors.

I managed to beat with all 3 characters, but they all ended up playing like the Wizard by the end - melee too dangerous to get into, so spamming Fireball and other spells to give time for Fireball to recharge. I'd like to see anybody play the last two levels using strictly melee for damage...

On another note, is there any way to actually ... FIGHT the final boss?

I finished the game with Thief and Wizard. but i could not pass floor6 with fighter. Also i was unlucky because of given spell. I've never found fireball or shadowwalk with fighter. It is almost impossible to make melee-fight advancing levels.

Sleep and transform can dispatch any foe. Sleep is especially priceless for warrior. :)

And there is 8 levels.

Game plays really well but it could do with having more floors. To put it in persepctive I've NEVER finished any other roguelike and yet I finished this one on my second attempt. I was a Wizard with 2 fireballs, sleep, charm and teleport. I was untouchable.

Also what is the point of coins?
