Set five years after the events of Borderlands, Handsome Jack, the game's main antagonist, has taken over the Hyperion corporation, has declared himself Dictator of Pandora, and stolen all of the credit for finding the Vault, going so far to claim responsibility for killing the Destroyer. Jack has also blotted out much of the light on the planet by having a giant orbiting H-shaped base set in front of Pandora's stationary moon. The new team in Borderlands 2 is tasked with killing Jack and returning peace to Pandora.

In general a good shooter with plenty of loot, interesting enemies, comedic tone few other games achieve, visual style of its own, and tons of guns. However, nothing's perfect.

The gun-play is good but nothing amazing. The way enemies are turned into bullet sponges during coop is plain lazy design on the developer's part. The way loot drops is absolutely terrible in coop so if nobody loves you and you for some reason want to play with randoms plan to race for loot.

There's plenty of extra dynamics and depth they could have added to this game but when you get down to it, this game feels like a mostly blank canvas with hints of a masterpiece scattered across it.

Simply, I lost interest after 36 hours a couple months ago. Humor alone can't justify playing a game that goes on for this long.

waz up! woohoo borderlands games are super great

Better than the first game, better than the soulless 3rd game.

Good game, with various of enemies, 4 playable characters, Cooperative or Singleplayer, and loots from the Common one to the most Legendary weapons

I really didn't expect Borderlands 2 to be better than part 1, but it is, well as for me. The plot and characters make a big difference compared to 1st game, some other minor features like crate types and surprises inside, additional vehicle etc also help the gameplay nicely. Definitely recommend it for those who like open-world or sci-fi games, it's a game to spend a couple of weeks entertained easy.

Cool first person shooting game with role playing elements. Interesting yet sometimes weird enemies, tons of crazy weapons hidden to be found, and many things. Played the first and this one. Yeah, guns with few elements are awesome thing to use :D

Great game, amazing animation style, even if the quests get a bit boring and repetitive sometimes.

SMASH THE SYSTEM

Borderlands 2 is a GREAT game, the re-playability value is endless and the game is long enough as it is. Everything about it is pretty solid other than a few small bugs here and there when playing Co-Op mode. Overall its a 9.5/10 in my book, easily the 2012 GOTY.
