NOT MORE OF THE SAME
Blockade blade is not just another pew pew shootem up, it is intended to be a
different style of runner/shooter but with steaks that make it
important and exiting to get through the next blockade.
MAIN GAMEPLAY FEATURES
The main adventure game is intended to be about rescuing people from
earth, where a crazed government ruled by one single dictator has
subjugated the planet and set up blockades throughout the solar
system to provide security from the rebels and stop escape. you as
seraphim a specialist pilot in an experimental shielded ship are on a
mission to rescue and save as many human lives as you can. This will
be your score if you will, you will be taking them to a space station
hidden behind an asteroid field. where I also hope to implement an
System map (save game, manage ship, enter levels)
Ground sections (Sneak around buildings minigame to rescue people)
Air and space(run Blockades, survive)
Station (shop, repair, drop off)
Up till now Blockade blade was all up in the air, now im working on the ground zones where you will eventually be finding and saving the lives of the escaped hiding civilians. A the moment i'm working on the detection and ai of the basic ground enemy the bots(humans given bogus eternal life).
tweaking their ability to see you and painting pixel art, also procedural generation for the levels so they are always different, all very simple right now, will put up a couple of screens for the snow area working on...
