Now let me talk about the weather in BlackSoul and how we can use it to make scenes more dreadful.
The story takes place from dusk to dawn and you'll also find different weather conditions playing the game: using the powerful system of S2 in fact we can make day light and weather change in real time.
Playing with sun light or making it rain for example we are tryng to emphasize the sense of fear and danger that fills the whole scenes, that's the most important thing for a survival horror. You'll also see how the humidity factor ( very well implemented in S2 Engine ) gives the objects a damp look, so that the game looks much more frightening ( and that's important ).
