we have stabilized our new procedural engine, the 'Procedural Voxel Heaven', and decided to use it.
We want to show you the power and beauty of this engine with various IMAGES divided by type of game-campaign.
Each campaign in the game has a different terrain height!
This new approach in the construction of the levels allows us to have a greater variety in the appearance and form of the created worlds, which will always be different and unpredictable.
In addition, the characters have greater freedom of movement, jumping, climbing and exploration.
Also a level persistence mechanism has been activated, in order to try again the same map as often as desired.
The platforms are placed completely randomly, and the game paths will be even more varied!
Complete list of changes:
- greater importance of energy attribute: you can not jump if it is zero
- random selection of generators: to increase the variety of missions
- new and incisive procedural engine: to create a connective tissue between the platforms
- terrain modeling during the game
