Wage war in the North and assume command of the most storied civilizations in all of Middle-earth history - the Elven and Dwarven armies - or fight on the side of Evil with heroes and creatures that have never been seen in The Lord of the Rings films. Defend or overtake never before seen lands such as Dol Guldur, The Misty Mountains, and Mirkwood as you unleash powerful new weapons and abilities - summon dragons, cause volcanoes to erupt, or bring down a cataclysmic lightning strike.

Description

Extract to main BfME2 directory and play using "BfG.bat" This update includes some minor changes (Cost for Ships changed, Acceleration increased a lot, etc) and a ReadMe in German, I'll post a translation here as soon as possible. Warning: This is a very early beta and it is NOT in any way balanced. I'm currently waiting for feedback to improve the balance. As all other factions are meant to be replaced, the Empire is not and will not be balanced to be played vs any faction of the original game. To take advantage of the increased zoom (the mod is nearly unplayable with the normal zoom as all archer ranges are increased a lot) the maps Celduin River, Gap of Rohan, Buckland, Dead Marshes, Udun, Evendim and the 8-player Tournament Hills map are recommended as I haven't yet found any other map from the original game that supports changes to the camera height without editing the map.
