Some facts they are saying:
- Feels like totally unpolished game - what explains bad reviews.
- Nothing innovative, instead you get less in this game compared to previous AvP games. Didnt evolve from previous games.
- Unfair to the game for being reviews in same category of people that are comparing this game with other FPS shooters (BF:BC2, COD, HALO...) - what also explains bad reviews. Similar how you cant compare L4D2 with MW2.
- Successfully introduces all 3 species. Players feel like species they are playing with.
- Fun multiplayer modes.
Also 31:15 you can see bug, where Predator kills alien with his claws not even touching him... from like 4 meters (unpolished).
My problem is that game is not polished, feels like unfinished game and like its in Beta state... mechanics and lack of options and features in-game is big letdown.
Lets hope they will add more and fix those letdowns in "upcoming" patches and upcoming DLCs.
